Christmas Eve

Enjoy mulled wine and fine cheeses as we sing carols around the tree, before a sumptuous Christmas Eve dinner.  Relax with a tipple in the bar, or attend Midnight Mass at one of our beautiful local churches.

Christmas Day

Start your day with Breakfast & Bubbles, maybe go for a ramble around Rutland Water or stay at our cosy home-from-home hotel to open your presents, before a traditional Christmas lunch, with Christmas cake and tea in the afternoon. In the evening we will lay on a fantastic buffet dinner for you.

Boxing Day

Relax at the hotel, explore the local countryside before a delicious lunch, followed by a festive quiz.

Join us for a traditional lunch on Christmas Day, with a fabulous three course festive feast, as you soak up the rustic yuletide atmosphere at The Barnsdale.

Our Winter Afternoon Tea is a real treat, something a little different, with seasonal sandwiches, scones and cakes, served in our cosy Rod Room or Orangery, every day between 2:30-4pm. (48 hours notice required)

Our culinary elves are busy conjuring up Christmassy cakes and more, so the menu will be available soon.
